SHEreads recap part 2! This semester, KS WELI Student Board members had the opportunity to read Tiffany and Leon Chen’s “It’s Not Just Cookies” recipe book for the SHEreads Book Club! ✨
SB members participated in three interactive panels and had the opportunity to get their books signed by Tiffany Chen, Founder of the cookie delivery company Tiff’s Treats. These workshops were all focused on the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, gaining insight into the journey of building a successful company from the ground up.

BuildHER, the KS WELI Student Board’s personal and professional development program, equips students with the skills they need to thrive as leaders and entrepreneurs through a gender-smart perspective. During these sessions, SB members honed their leadership values, analyzed their communication styles, crafted impactful delegation skills, and learned how to coach.
We appreciate Vaishali and the Professional Development committee for their commitment to empowering the SB Executive Committee to lead with clarity and confidence! 🤘💛✨

Before we kick off the summer, we want to thank everyone who supported and participated in KS WELI programming and events.
KS WELI had over 850 attendees this academic year at our events and programming, over 1,700 new followers across all social media platforms, and over 100+ new KS WELI Student Board members.
