The Kendra Scott Foundation and Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Kendra Scott Foundation’s breast cancer initiative Yellow for Pink provides grants to breast cancer nonprofits that support survivors, thrivers, and families affected by this disease. Additionally, we partner with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to fund a metastatic breast cancer research grant, The Kendra Scott Award in Honor of Holley Rothell Kitchen. Since 2016, we have funded over 35,000 hours of research.

Dr. Suzanne Fuqua, Professor of Medicine and Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine, is working to overcome resistance to therapies and prevent metastasis of estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer. This research is critical because once tumors develop resistance to anti-cancer therapies, metastasis occurs and kills almost 100% of those affected.

For 2024, the Kendra Scott Foundation is committing $250,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Pink Agenda in support of their mission to advance the world's most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. For more information about BCRF, visit www.bcrf.org.

Our Shared Impact

We’re proud to help Inheritance of Hope bring lasting memories to families and create joy after a terminal diagnosis.

In Memory of Holley Rothell Kitchen

On Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we honor Kendra’s dear friend and breast cancer awareness advocate, Holley. Following Holley’s metastatic breast cancer diagnosis, she and her family went on an Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat®, and to keep Holley’s memory alive, we fundraise every year to support other families like hers.

20% of all purchases made online and in stores on 10/13 will support Inheritance of Hope through the Kendra Scott Foundation.
