This was my absolute favorite piece that my parents gifted to me for my birthday. My husband bought me the matching earrings, I will have him return them for a refund. I properly stored and cared for the necklace. Never showered, worked out, or swam while wearing it. I always put it on with clean freshly washed and dried hands. Yet it has tarnished. I have earrings that I've had for over 5 years that are still in perfect condition. Despite the rumor they will replace tarnished jewelry, they will not. Heartbroken I can't wear this necklace anymore.
Clasp too hard to unscrew
Got this for Christmas and still can't use it. Clasp is too difficult to unscrew. Very expensive compared to the quality of the clasp. Accidentally threw away the receipt - wish I could have returned it. Love all the other Kendra Scott pieces I have but this one is a major disappointment.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it, was just what she wanted.
Love this necklace. My husband and 3 girls gave me this for Christmas 2023. It's difficult to get the clasp on and it tends to unscrew while wearing it. So I would constantly have to check to see if it was still fastened all the time. Having to readjust to make sure it was still around my neck. Unfortunately, it must have worked its way off and I lost it New Year's Eve. I'm so sad. Please be careful. : (
I can't get this necklace on. I've had four people try to get it open and none of us can figure it out. For the price it also feels cheap, almost like plastic to me. I own 20+ ks necklaces and haven't made a complaint about one.

It's hard to get on and off. Loosens while wearing.
It looks so cute, if only it was functional, but the difficult clasp makes it impossible to wear. Total waste of money since I can't wear it or return it.
The design of this is cumbersome and not well thought out - the bar does not lay horizontal without constant readjusting and the closure is difficult even for my 20 YO daughter. They should have fixed the side brackets to stabilize hanging
It was not what I expected at all. Disappointment as soon as I opened it. Much smaller than I expected and the color just looks fake.
For the amount of money I paid for this necklace, I would expect a better quality. While wearing it, the clasp came open and the charms fell off onto the floor.

I have bought MANY Kendra
I have bought MANY Kendra Scott pieces and sent significant money on them. The above necklace was very pricey and after adding two small charms (one I bought from KS), the charm holder opened on its own and both charms fell to the floor. I did not return this necklace but this piece is my last purchase from Kendra Scott.

I LOVE this necklace, and
I LOVE this necklace, and the whole idea behind it with the ability to make it personal by selecting the charms that relate to you specifically. The length of the necklace is 16", which doesn't work for women of all ages; so, if after putting the charms on my necklace, the length doesn't fit, I will need to return the necklace.
It is a beautiful piece! elegant, nice to layer with others. I did ignore the reviews about the clasp... the reviews were correct. I wish it was a better design. Hard to do, especially in a rush
Absolutely love the necklace with the charms but I wish it had a different clasp. Trying to unscrew the barrel and get the tiny necklace link through is a nightmare.
I got this necklace as a gift and loved it. Until about a month after wearing it consistently the gold began tarnishing and turning silver near the clasp. I went to my local store and they said they could give me a refund or I could wait for it to come back in store and get an exchange, its been a while since then and I'm still waiting with a silver necklace.

My boyfriend got me this necklace as a gift and I love everything about it but the clasp‚ its super hard to take on and off and the clasp unscrews all the time so I'm always paranoid that its gonna fall off and I'm going to lose it. I wish I could keep the chain and replace the clasp.

This is cute and stylish and is all over the social Edina for Kendra Scott right now. But I agree with another post that this is not the easiest clasp to use. The lady at the store really couldn't help me put it on because her nails were too long. The more I have worn it, the easier it gets.
The necklace broke right out of the box. The link where the clasp connects separated and I couldn't use the necklace and had to return.

It's a really nice piece, takes a little concentration to put the loose end of chain into the ring and clasp it but worth it
I love the look and feel of this necklace but it is kind of hard to get on and off and the clasp is kind of hard to fasten.
I absolutely love this necklace! I have purchased 2 additional for friends as well and they all love the design. I love that the clasp is the main link so you're not constantly twisting your necklace around because of necklaces that the clasps are in the back and fall to the front.
Clasp design is not good!
This necklace is beautiful, I just bought it for my birthday gift to myself (with my discount, of course). I'm not sure what Kendra Scott was thinking though with the design of the clasp. It's a shorter necklace and the clasp is the round barrel that contains the white sapphires. You have to unscrew the tiny barrel and then pull the tiny round link over the other side to open it up. This is very difficult because of the short length of the necklace, if your eyes are getting old like mine and if you have any type of length to your nails. I'll deal with it but Kendra Scott should really re-think the design of this clasp!
