Mental Health Matters
This month, we invite you to prioritize your mental health. Whether it’s taking a break, breathing deep, or seeking help, it all makes a difference. Because mental health matters and so do you.

Mental health is defined as your emotional, psychological, and cognitive wellbeing. It affects how you think, feel, and act, but unless something is seriously wrong, it is often not prioritized–but the best way to prevent issues is to care for your mental health every day, even when you’re feeling good.
What Is
Mental Health?

Self-care is the act of taking care of yourself—sounds simple, but it takes purposeful effort to practice self-care and it can have big benefits like impacting your mental health and overall wellness.

Let’s Talk About Self-Care
Is not self-indulgent; it is self-responsibility.
Does not have to be time-consuming or expensive; it can be fast and free.
It should make you feel fulfilled and it should refuel you!
Is not selfish; it is an act of self-love.

Simply put, self-care:

Emotional self-care involves tending to your own internal emotional world—especially your mood
and feelings.
